Katrine was apprentice at Mathuset Solvold, and worked there as a chef after a period around Norway and Denmark where she worked at Le Canard, Solsiden (Oslo) and Koch (Aarhus) and Skarsnuten in Hemsedal.
Norwegian champion for apprentices in 2004.
